Happy New Year!

Now that 2019 is here, I am going to attempt to complete what I intended to do last year….contribute to my blog!

This first post directly stems from my law practice, in that I want to make sure that YOU have the right automobile insurance coverage for your personal situations. The one thing that I’ve noticed in my practice is that most people, do not have enough coverage in the event that they are in a serious accident. Never mind the people who only have state mandated minimum coverage.

If you have a job with decent pay, there is absolutely NO way that you should have state minimum coverage. In fact, I feel so strongly about this that I’m telling you to fire your insurance agent if they haven’t done a well enough job convincing you that you need additional coverage.

Not only should you have liability coverage, in the event that you are at fault, but you should also have underinsured coverage (in the event the at-fault driver does not have enough insurance to cover your injuries) and uninsured coverage (because God forbid the person that hits you has no insurance).

Now that I’ve told you what type of coverage you should have, the next step is to make sure that you have enough coverage to protect your assets – not just your personal assets, but the biggest asset of all – YOU, in the event that your injuries are serious enough to require surgery and extended rehabilitation.

Now comes the part where I have to inform you that this blog post is for informational purposes only and not meant to be legal advice and definitely does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between me and the reader!

Wishing you peace, joy, and blessings in 2019!
