Hopefully by now everyone has a new normal – staying home unless it’s absolutely necessary for you to go somewhere. It’s a different feeling, but I’m okay with it. I miss traveling but don’t mind being in the house for the most part.

My hope is that as people become personally impacted by the effects of the Rona, more  people will take social distancing more seriously. I hope they know that the government and “liberal media” aren’t just trying to infringe upon their rights but instead are trying to save lives. It’s scary to know that we have not hit the worst of the pandemic.

By the way – could this virus have not come at a worse time for us Kentuckians who already suffer from terrible seasonal allergies?!?!? How many of you are like me and keep trying to figure out: do I just need to take a Mucinex or do I need to go get tested for the Rona?

What has being home been like for you? For me, I hate watering and tending to my lawn (how much does an in-ground sprinkler system cost). Living in a new development neighborhood I may have to buy some noise cancelling headphones (like really good ones), as the rock breaker is about to drive me all the way nuts. The weather is freaking schizo right now – come on Mother Nature and be kind to us, we are already suffering through 2020. I love working from home – I think I’m way more productive. Think about it – I cut out travel time, minimal effort to shower and get dressed, my hair is in a ponytail everyday (the first thing I’m doing when social distancing is over is going to the hair salon). I realize that I can watch Dick Wolf TV shows all day, everyday (while working of course. I love Zoom Happy Hours. I am tired of Zoom organizational meetings. It’s hard to watch weekly tv shows as they are scheduled, as I’ve gotten so used to binge watching shows.

I will close by asking you to let me know what you are doing to pass time through COVID-19. Stay Safe!
